About
Grover Parido is a classically trained cellist who is a performer, educator, composer, and producer. Grover received his music education from Butler University as a cello student of Arkady Orlovsky. Other teachers include Cassell Grubb and Robert Sansone. As a free-lance cellist, Grover has toured North America from New York to Vancouver, with a variety of ensembles. He has appeared as a cellist and/or bassist on over 35 recordings. He has composition credits on the critically praised independent feature film, “Paradise Recovered.” He has served as performer, producer, and arranger for many mid-western artists. He is currently serving as string director and arranger for the Woomblies Rock Orchestra.
A private cello and bass instructor since 1997, Grover joined Pike High School as a cello and bass tutor in 2009. Grover has been the Assistant Director of Orchestras at Pike High School since 2015.
